About
NairoBits is a youth based organisation that uses ICT multimedia creatively to improve the lives of less privileged children and youth from the non-formal settlement. Founded in the year 1999 by the butterfly works from the Netherlands, the organization has positively impacted lives of over 1, 500 youngsters in Kenya through her programs.
NairoBits puts the digital tools of expression in the hands of the youth who have creativity but not the mean to express themselves. The youth in return act as multipliers of the skills to the community based organization that we partner with. During the years NairoBits has received both local and international recognition and has won several awards. NairoBits has also featured prominetly in the local and international press. NairoBits is greatful to all our donors specifically the ICCO, IYF, Ford Foundation, Edukans Foundation, Microsoft, CordAids and the Dutch embassy among others for our success.
